Undone Partners with Nimbility to Expand Alcohol-Free Spirits in Asia-Pacific
Undone, a German company specializing in alcohol-free spirits, has announced a strategic partnership with Nimbility, a beverage brand strategist, to expand its market presence across the Asia-Pacific region. The collaboration is set to leverage the increasing demand for no and low alcoholic beverages, which has been rising significantly in recent years.
Founded in Hamburg, Undone officially launched its products in 2019 at Brooklyn’s Bar Convent. The brand has developed a patented process that retains the essential oils and botanicals in spirits, resulting in vegan-friendly and gluten-free beverages with 0.3% alcohol by volume, similar to the natural alcohol content found in grape juice.
Undone’s product range includes alcohol-free spirits, aperitifs, sparkling products, and ready-to-drink beverages, all designed with quality and mixability in mind. The brand plans to work with Nimbility to roll out its offerings in priority markets across Asia-Pacific. This includes enhancing distribution, increasing visibility, and promoting on-trade adoption and bartender engagement.
The partnership will focus on a sensitive route-to-market strategy, distributor partnerships, and tailored brand-building initiatives for each country’s culture and market dynamics. The goal is to reposition how non-alcoholic spirits are perceived and consumed in the region.
André Stork, founder of Undone, highlighted Asia as one of the most exciting opportunities for the future of no and low alcohol drinking. Consumers in the region are increasingly seeking premium alternatives that align with modern lifestyles, emphasizing health-driven moderation and social inclusivity. Ian Ford, co-founder of Nimbility, noted the genuine and durable interest in the non-alcoholic category across various markets, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, and Australia.
Manuel Arce, Nimbility’s spirits and non-alcoholic director, stated that Undone fits naturally into their portfolio, capable of standing alongside full-strength spirits on the back bar. This collaboration underscores the potential for growth and innovation within the non-alcoholic beverage sector in Asia-Pacific.
