Rise Wellness Introduces Prebiotic Sparkling Protein Beverage to Expand Protein Pop Range
On September 4, 2026, Rise Wellness announced the expansion of its Protein Pop range with the introduction of Protein Pop Balance, a beverage that blends whey protein, collagen, prebiotics, and fiber in a soda-like format. Initially available through Protein Pop's website and Amazon, the product is expected to hit Target and other major retailers' shelves starting mid-September.
Protein Pop Balance offers 15g of protein per can, with 10g from clear whey protein isolate and 5g from collagen. Additionally, it provides 5g of fiber along with prebiotics, aiming to support both protein intake and digestive health. The product presents itself as an alternative to traditional protein shakes, intending to deliver a lighter drinking experience.
According to Darin Perry, CEO of Rise Wellness, the new product is designed to help people maintain their wellness goals in a lighter manner. The beverage is both sugar-free and devoid of artificial sweeteners, caffeine, and gluten, using a blend of stevia leaf extract with Reb A and Reb M for sweetness.
This new entry is part of Rise Wellness's strategic move to diversify its product offerings within the Protein Pop lineup. The existing portfolio includes the original Protein Pop, which contains 22g of whey protein in a non-carbonated format, and Protein Pop Max, known for its 30g protein content and carbonated texture.
The release of Protein Pop Balance reflects a continuing trend in the beverage industry, where companies are merging the protein and functional beverage categories to offer multifunctional nutritional benefits in convenient, ready-to-drink formats.
The product is designed for use at various times throughout the day, providing consumers with an option that combines protein supplementation with digestive health.
