PerfectTed Introduces Instant Matcha Latte Powders in Two Flavors

UK-based matcha brand PerfectTed has announced the release of its Instant Matcha Latte Powders available in two flavors: Original and Vanilla. These new products combine ceremonial-grade matcha with oat milk, contained in individually portioned sachets. Consumers can prepare a matcha latte by simply adding water and stirring, eliminating the need for additional equipment like a whisk.

The Instant Matcha Latte Powders come in boxes containing six sachets, designed to replicate a café-style matcha latte in roughly 30 seconds. The development of this product aimed to address the technical challenges of creating an instant matcha which is naturally insoluble. PerfectTed's formulation ensures the powders deliver the color, flavor, and texture of a freshly prepared matcha latte.

The Original flavor aims to maintain the traditional matcha taste, while the Vanilla option provides a subtly sweet alternative, made especially for consumers new to the matcha category. According to Marisa Poster, co-founder of PerfectTed, the launch is a response to customer demand for more accessible matcha products. The initiative aligns with the company's strategy to integrate matcha into daily routines through increased convenience.

The Instant Matcha Lattes are priced at £3.85 for a box of six sachets and are now available at Sainsbury's. Established in 2021, PerfectTed's portfolio includes matcha powders, ready-to-drink matcha lattes, sparkling matcha energy drinks, concentrates, single-serve sachets, and matcha Nespresso-compatible pods.
