Passion 24 Launches Collagen Functional Juice at Taipei Show
Passion 24, a company based in Taichung, Taiwan, has unveiled its latest product, a collagen functional juice, at the Food Taipei Mega Shows 2026. This beverage is designed to offer benefits for beauty, hydration, and recovery. The company positions itself as a clean-label brand, ensuring that its fruit-based drinks contain no added sugar, preservatives, caffeine, or artificial colors.
Co-founder Roger Yang highlighted that the Collagen Functional Juice is distinct in the Taiwanese market, particularly as an RTD (ready-to-drink) can format. While Japan typically uses juice as a flavoring, Passion 24 focuses on safety and efficacy in its formulations, complying with Taiwan's strict regulations on functional ingredients. The product was developed over two to three years and tested across various demographics to ensure the correct dosage of functional extracts.
The juice provides a moderate daily intake of 2,500mg of collagen per serving, with recommendations to consume up to two cans per day. Yang emphasized that this product is not competing with high-dose collagen supplements but instead offers a multifunctional beverage with additional plant extracts.
The Collagen Functional Drink incorporates coconut juice for hydration, vitamin C for collagen absorption, and extracts like tart cherry and lingonberry for antioxidants and flavor. Passion 24 collaborated with Le Jus, a Hong Kong-based health and smoothie chain, to promote its Wake Functional Juice, targeting mental wellness and liver health.
The Wake Functional Juice uses plant extracts such as rhodiola for mental focus and hovenia dulcis for hangover relief. Passion 24 employs its proprietary LightEnergy photon molecular activation technology, claiming it enhances taste and ingredient absorption.
Expansion plans are underway, with the company aiming to engage Chinese-speaking consumers in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia, by 2027. While Passion 24 has started retailing in Hong Kong and Macau, its drinks are available in major stores across Taiwan. The company also eyes entry into English-speaking regions like Australia, the US, and the EU by 2028.
