New Beverage Launches Focus on Distinctive Flavours and Collaboration
A new series of beverage launches is capturing consumer interest through a focus on distinctive flavours and premium branding. Among the latest offerings is Grey Goose's Berry Rouge, a flavoured vodka introduced to the UK market as the company's largest flavour expansion in over a decade. Berry Rouge, featuring natural berry essences, aims to provide a fruit-forward profile with balanced sweetness. It is available exclusively through Tesco, with additional retail channels including Amazon and Selfridges.
MOMO Kombucha has partnered with Natoora to release a limited-edition Passion Fruit Kombucha. The drink uses passion fruit from Spanish grower Amadora, delivering a sweet-and-sour tropical profile. The partnership supports Natoora’s Farm Fund initiative, which promotes sustainable agricultural practices and aims to produce fruits that are sweeter and less acidic than commercially harvested variants.
DropWorks Rum adds new variety with its limited-edition Distiller's Drop #003, finished in Scotch whisky casks. This British rum is limited to just 550 bottles and continues DropWorks' exploration of unique maturation techniques. The product was matured over 29 months in American oak before being finished in Scotch whisky casks.
In addition to these launches, De Bortoli Wines has entered the UK market with its 2025 Buttery Chardonnay, available through ASDA. This Chardonnay features peach and melon flavors with notes of butterscotch, aiming to provide a rich, approachable taste for pairing with various dishes.
These beverage launches reflect ongoing trends in the industry, with producers focusing on premiumisation, craft credentials, and targeted retail strategies to stand out in competitive markets.
