Mane Acquires Cvista to Expand Citrus and Beverage Innovation in the US
Mane, a prominent flavour and fragrance manufacturer, has completed the acquisition of Cvista, a US-based specialist in citrus ingredients. This strategic move aims to enhance Mane's capabilities in citrus innovation, particularly in the beverage industry. The acquisition's cornerstone is the establishment of a global Citrus and Beverage Center of Excellence in Riverview, Florida. This center will leverage Cvista’s cutting-edge facilities and expertise in citrus oil processing and natural ingredient development.
Cvista is known for supplying citrus oil fractions and natural essences to the flavour and fragrance sectors. Its comprehensive approach spans the entire citrus value chain, from sourcing raw materials to the intricate fractionation and purification of specific flavour compounds. Through this acquisition, Mane aims to fortify a critical area of beverage innovation, responding to a market increasingly oriented towards differentiated natural flavours, sophisticated citrus profiles, and components that support reduced-sugar and functional product advancements.
According to Samantha Mane, president of Mane Group, this acquisition serves as a significant catalyst for growth in the citrus sector, particularly in beverages. The new hub at Riverview will facilitate Mane's access to these capabilities, driving forward its integrated approach to ingredient innovation.
