Hotel Chocolat Launches New Autumn Hot Chocolate Varieties

Hotel Chocolat has introduced a new limited-edition drinking chocolate, Spicy Maple, as part of its autumn lineup. Priced at £11.95, this new addition combines sweet maple with habanero heat, tapping into the rising popularity of 'swicy' flavor profiles that mix sweetness and spice.

In addition to Spicy Maple, Hotel Chocolat is reintroducing its Pumpkin Spice Drinking Chocolate at the same price point. This variant features a blend of cinnamon, ginger, and pumpkin, appealing to those who crave warming seasonal tastes.

Yiotis Panagiotou, Specialty Chocolatier at Hotel Chocolat, highlighted the importance of innovation that resonates with consumers, citing the adaptation of the Spicy Maple flavor from the chocolatier’s existing filled chocolate range.

The autumn range extends to various consumption settings, allowing customers to enjoy these flavors at home using a Velvetiser, steam wand, or hob. Moreover, Hotel Chocolat's Velvetiser Cafés will offer these recipes as hot chocolate, choc shakes, and mochas.

The brand is also offering three seasonal limited-edition Selectors: Nuts for Praline, Rustle & Crunch, and Pumpkin Pie. The Pumpkin Pie Selector is noted for its spiced pumpkin ganache, almond praline, and crunchy corn-flake crust.
