Ehrmann and Glow25 Collaborate to Launch Collagen-infused RTD Coffees
German dairy group Ehrmann has announced a collaboration with beauty and wellness business Glow25 to launch a new range of ready-to-drink (RTD) coffees infused with collagen. The product, named Glow to Go Coffee, will feature 15g of bovine collagen hydrolysate per 250ml bottle. This initiative combines Glow25’s expertise in the collagen market with Ehrmann’s capabilities in product development and distribution.
The new RTD coffees will be offered in caramel and caffé latte flavors and are set to be sold at major German grocery chains such as Rewe and Edeka, including drug stores Budni and Müller. Priced at €2.99 (approximately $3.42), the products will also be available for purchase online via Amazon and Glow25’s website.
In a joint statement, the companies highlighted the strategic benefits of this partnership, emphasizing Glow25’s experience in the collagen category and Ehrmann’s broad distribution network within the food retail sector. The collaboration is expected to last several years, with plans to expand the product line to include additional RTD formats and other complementary items.
Ehrmann, a leading player in the German dairy industry, is known for its wide range of dairy products, including yogurts, desserts, and milk-based drinks. The company also specializes in the production and development of functional beverages through its subsidiaries such as Saliter.
Incorporated in the new coffee drinks are ingredients like biotin and niacin, which reportedly contribute to the maintenance of normal skin and hair and help in reducing tiredness and fatigue, respectively. Each 250ml bottle will contain 25mg of caffeine per 100ml.
Steven Mattwig, CEO of Glow25, noted the synergy between the two companies, stating that combining an everyday product like coffee with a popular active ingredient such as collagen offers significant potential. Glow25, founded in 2019, is recognized as one of the fastest-growing brands in the ingestible beauty sector, with over 2.5 million customers in the DACH region, as well as in France and the Netherlands.
