Aapa secures national listings with Asda and WHSmith
Aapa, a new entrant in the soft drinks industry, has launched its products across Asda and WHSmith outlets nationwide. Each 330ml can of Aapa contains 7g of fibre, Zinc, Calcium, antioxidants, and real fruit juice, with a caloric content of 49 calories. The drinks come in four flavours: Lemon & Lime, Orange, Wild Berry, and Tropical, with a retail price of £2 per can.
The introductory offer in Asda is priced at £4 for a pack of four cans, which will increase to £5.50 after the promotion. The brand is focused on providing a beverage that combines taste with nutritional benefits, an idea endorsed by Mark Watkins, the director of Aapa.
Aapa plans to expand its presence in the retail market with efforts in sampling and marketing slated through the end of 2026. This move aligns with the growing consumer demand for functional beverages, which include products like protein coffee and prebiotic sodas, catering to health-conscious buyers seeking energy and nutritional support.
